What's wrong with a none original one? (not that I have one, I use Ir)

Because most aftermarket cables are equivalent to the T-28 cable and don't work with the T39 and above. I have all the receipts to prove it. That is not to say you can't get a working aftermarket cable but you never really know until you have it. |

Buy InfraRed, not much of a price difference and you can use it with many things, whereas with the data cable, you'll just be limited to your T68....
I bought one three weeks ago and i'm very pleased... |

I use a modified service/flash cable (courtesy of ying) which works without hitches.
The original (DRS-10) costs 60-70% more, and all ying did was switch some cables inside.
One drawback, however, is that you can't charge your phone while using the modified cable at the same time. (When I got to charge the Phone I then switch to my laptop and use IR instead - then charge the phone ) |
