you should start with some details about what you wan to use it for, do you need a smart phone, 3g, dual band, tri-band, etc etc etc

Yup, a SE Z600 is a nice one. I saw a new release of Samsung, just forgot the brand model, it's exterior has a dark bluish color, definitely smaller than a samsung v200 . . .

where are you located? (in other words.... would a european dualband, a triband, a us dualband or an asian phone be better)?

Not many flipphones with bluetooth and external display. Z600 is one. But I think it is huge compared with T610.

Another option that fits your description would be a NEC n341.
+4k external screen
+65k internal TFT
+camera
+IR
+great java performance
+it has more memory than the Z600 (i not exactly sure but i think the n341 has 4mb)

-IR only for passing contacts
-no bluetooth
-probably more things,i just cant think what they are at the moment. [addsig]
