Try this in all T68 versions.
in the sms when using t9 input press a key letter (just one letter like a or d.....) and scroll up it will give you a choice of all the word that you have been using in your phone (wap address or sms massages)
I don’t know if this had been mentioned before but it's cool and useful

Yeah its like pressin the 0 key to change it to the word that u want but using the joystick instead..

for the first time i tried to put numbers in to a sms using t9 it was a nightmare had to turn off t9 and use multitap even that was a pain !

Why don't you just press and hold a key to get the number? I find that a lot easier than using t9 or multitap. |

You can do a long press on the # key to switch between abc and 123 even when using T9. Just make sure that you select English, abc, and 123 in the language settings. |

I'm getting more and more disappointed about the manual that comes with the phone. Even though it looks impressive with more than a hundred pages and a colorful cover, it's really nothing but a beginner's guide for the phone. I have found lots of feature myself, and read about and learned even more features in forums like this that are not mentioned with a single word in the manual. Many of these nice features, like pressing and holding the # key to switch to number input, or using the joystick up/down / volume up/down to store and retreive a calculated value in the calculator, must have cost at least a few hours of development and testing time when the software was created for the phone, and still it's not even mentioned in the manual. I think it's time that someone compiles an advanced user's manual for each phone. I guess many of these features are common for many models too, which makes it even worse. One can wonder about if they really know what they write in the manuals though, in the T68 manual, there is a section at the back about warranties and safety, and there is a large section discussing the hazards of removing the antenna while the phone is turned on. Hallooo! How can you remove something that is not there? Yes, it may be possible to remove the internal antenna, but not without removing the battery and taking the phone apart. |
