HPM-10 MP3 player |

I was browsing through the mobilefun.co.uk web site and came across this special offer being advertised: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/1021.htm
Now i know this player has supposed to have been discontinued a while ago, however these people seem to have some in stock. Ive used the search and members have mixed feelings about this product.
Is there anyone who is or have currently used this product? If so is it worth buying or should I save up for a HBM-30?

If you do get one, get a new card reader the one that comes with it sucks, also the player often disconnects easy just by a little knock!

The only prob i had was installing it on winxp, once i got the driver from SE website it was fine, the card reader works fine too,and i've changed the music on the 32mb card numerous times since i got it just to test different quality of music at 56k(streamripped from winamp)and how much space i can make on it altho i've ordered a 128mb card last nite.
I also took it into town with me,i decided to use it with my t68i instead of t610,i have an old case for t68i so i put it in that and clipped it to my inside pocket in my leather jacket and it never cut off at all,i was careful tho and it was also pi**ing down with rain but the earphones and mic are ok after that too
At the end of the day it is a bargain for £23,considering L8shop were selling them for £69 a month ago i snapped it up!!!
Another happy customer

Well I still cant make my mind up....buy this device...or not....????!!!!!
I have a mini disc...net med can fit about 60-70 songs on a single disc....and the quality is great.....i guess the HPM has advantages of being smaller and lighter....but im a little concerned about the device falling off after reading the reviews on this forum...and the price of the HBM-30 is starting to fall...perhaps it would be more sensible to wait for this to drop a little more?
