Easy People
Does anyone know if the Jabra Bluetooth Headsets are worth investing into? How do they compare against the SE BT headsets?

I think from all the comments I've read on this forum that Jabra headsets are far better than any SE headset to date. I've got a Jabra200 and Its never missed a call.I wear it 8 hours a day and charge it once a week.It also seems to be the only brand to give caller names with T610/Z600.
Beginning to think they should be sponsoring me for my tireless praise. |

I would agree with all that except caller names. Cannot get that to work with my T610!

@shug, how do you get the caller names to work anyhow?!

One more question: does the majic word function work with the non-SE head sets? |

Does the magic word work with SE BT headsets?! If it does, then bugger me... heh
It doesn't work with my Jabra bt200, I know that much but it works with the normal corded handsfree that plugs into the bottom of the phone.

The magic word only works with cords. Its because your bluetooth headset is only active when prompted by your phone.
Caller names started working when I flashed to R3C.Sometimes when I charge it it stops working but if I put it in the charger for a few seconds it usually does the trick.

Hi, I have a BIG problem with my Jabra BT 200 + T610 :
I can't activate the "auto hang up" (or whatever it is called in english).
I would like to use the kit on motorcycle and i can't press the button in the helmet :/
Is it possible ? Did I missed something ?
Thanks for your help. |

to my knowledge, you don't have to... press the button, i mean. when the other party hangs up, then after a second or two your connection should be cut off and your phone should return to standby.
anyone else know any different?!

I think i used bad words to describing my pain...
I meant "auto answer".
How can I auto-answer a call when riding motorcycle without pressing the button ? |

oh... i misunderstood.. hehehe...
well, i don't know bout the T610 but on my z600, in settings -> voice control -> voice answer -> on and i can choose what accessories i wanna use that with. in the z600, there's a choice of 3 accs: car handsfree, bluetooth, and portable handsfree.
i just tick bluetooth and portable handsfree and i'm all set to voice answer by saying "answer" or whatever i set the answering command as when a call comes in.
OR, you could probably go settings -> answering mode -> auto and see how that goes...

I did that (set to auto answer) but it only works with SE corded Handsfree, not with Jabra BT200.
In accessories, I only have Car Handsfree, an Portable Handsfree.
No Blue Tooth :/
That is really making me upset. I paid so much to use that thing in my helmet, but I can't.
Did some people manage to make it work with T610 ?
(By the way I tried to upgrade my T610 bios to latest but no change) |

sorry i couldn't be of more help... :-/
i will say one more thing though... i used to ride when i was in melbourne and i think a corded handsfree would fit so much better inside a fullface rather than a Jabra.
