you could get special numbers on smart and sun postpaid.
like me. I got my sun postpaid # with this pattern: 0922-8xxyyxx
i did not pay any additional cost sa sun. pero sa smart, they would limit you to the last 4 digits only, and the lowest charge will be P500.

You could actually get special numbers from all telcos... just ask them how they charge for their defintion of special numbers and look for the loopholes.
For example, in the last 4 numbers of your requested number, all telcos would charge you if any 3 same numbers appear but they would not charge if a set of 2 unlike numbers would repeat itself.
Example:
with charge: 0922.822.6626
without charge: 0922.822.8282 |

It also depends on how 'desired' the requested number is... I asked Globe once, and all numbers ending in 8888 cost something like P5K (or was it P10K?) at the time.
Mine spells my name 'John' at the end so my number ends in 5646. |
