good coverage, fast & reliable gprs connection, unrestricted access on internet APN, and even if you are theoretically charged P0.25/kb, if you manage your consummable amount properly, additional costs are minimal or none at all. and unlike g-flex plans, it has free minutes.
OTA settings are much more logical & reliable than globe's system. also one thing i like is not having to dial '02' before calling a landline no. just enter the number directly.
the only things i don't like about the smart network are the sms/mms adverts you are sent every so often, more often than on my globe line, and the nagging sms reminder that you have exceeded 50% of your credit limit which cannot be switched off. thus, i suggest you get a high credit limit if only to reduce the occurence of being made kulit.
overall, the difference between addict and globe is night and day. i was just trying to surf again yesterday on my globe line after a long time, and i was thinking to myself how unusable it was, what with the connection constantly being dropped and all the restrictions. makes you wonder why they even offer gprs service. i honestly don't know why globe subscribers put up with that crap...
