Ericsson R320s R3B hardware, firmware is R1A. When I turn off the phone and/or remove the battery it sometimes loses the date and time settings and it gets pretty annoying!
What's wrong with my phone? Is there a lithium button cell inside that's dead? |

I've just consulted the R320 Service Manual. The R320 doesn't have a lithium cell to maintain the RTC (real time clock). It uses a backup capacitor, part number C720. So if you leave the battery disconnected for extended periods your RTC will reset to 00:00
I'll be bringing it to a service point tomorrow... |
