Hi,

I had similar problems getting my phone to use the XTND software, although the phone worked fine with Float.

The solution which worked for me was to first make sure that you have enough serial ports defined, I have 3 virtual ones set up on mine FYI, then run the dial up networking wizard from SE.

It takes a while but eventually finds the phone, you get to set a name for the phone etc. Quit the dial up networking wizard once you have defined settings and saved.

Go into outlook, click the syncornize button and away you go!!!

It seems a rather weird solution as I would not have thought that dial up networking would have had anything to do with the set up of syncronisation but it cured the problem for me. By the way, I didn't actually establish the dial up networking account, I just got the software to recognise the phone. I couldn't find anything about it in the online manual though.

Hope this helps.
