I am sure everyone uses voice has tryed calling someone by just using their voice, i have tryed but it takes me about 10 tries for it to recognize my voice, is this normal?? I mean this type of feature shouldn't even be implemented if it takes that many times to work. does anyone else have this kind of problem??

Yeah, you have to be really lucky for it to work... it helps if you record the name in a quite room.... don't know if you guys did that....

I hate it when you call someone and it rings and then it's someone else.....

that's pathetic....

It works best if the voice is recorded using the same method as you make your calls. It doesn't work well (if at all) if you call with your hands-free but recorded the voice commands using the handset alone.

lol damn right thats pathetic, but i can't even get the damn thing to even dial a name, it works well when it asks you where to dial (home, mibole, work other) but other than that...why the hell was it implemented

Hmmmm...

It works perfect for me.. Everytime... Or at least 95%..
I use it for everything; calls, profiles etc.

But - I only use voice-commands with a handsfree. Either the MP3, Radio or (most often) the HBH-20 Bluetooth.

I also use "magic word", voice-answering and -rejecting etc. (not with the HBH-20, of course)

Tip: A short "wistle" is very easy for the phone to recognize. I use this for both "magic word", the profile "normal", when the phone ask whitch type of number to call I use it for "mobile", and I also use it for voice-answering.

Notice: All these commands can be the same, short "wistle", since they are never used at the same time - and therefore never can chrash...

And of course - I always use the headset to tape the command in the first place.

Another tip: If the phone don't recognize the command, u just say it again immediately, before the next beep! Works!

And I mean it - It works for me almost every time, with all the strange voce-commands I have in my list...

It works 50% of the time for me...
What is more frustrating is that if you said the name correctly, you still have to say "mobile", "home", etc... correctly as well...

You should also keep the pitch of ur voice constant as that of ur recording! My T39mc is great at this! Nice idea about the whistle! The thing that bugs me is trying to record a memo during a call; got an adaptor and a headset, headset set 2 automatic, the screen prompts me for a command but willnt respond? Anyone successful at this? Does car profile work with a headset with what im trying 2 do?
