Anybody got any ideas when any of the UK networks will support MMS. Have asked Cellnet and Orange who both have not got a clue. When i pushed Cellnet and said that they were about to sell the phone there only comment was maybe on the day the phone is released.

Antonio you say that Cellnet (02) will launch MMS in June. Is this true? When I contacted them they said that there were currently no plans to offer MMS. Why don't Cellnet promote services that they are about to launch?

Got call back from Cellnet customer services who state that they intend to launch the service end May/eary June and there is an interoffice email that has been sent to all advisers about it. However exact date or price has yet to be decided.

As far as I was aware, Vodaphone were the only ones to launch the MMS tech in UK. If Cellnet are to launch it too, then great.. we can send to more people everywhere!!!

I hope that they all launch it soon as wanna see what all the fuss is about, and if its like normal txt msgs, then its gonna be a massive hit with everyone who sends them.

Good Stuff.

Just spoken to my girlfriend who is on Orange and she has called to ask them about MMS. They have told her that there will information posted on there web site during May giving all the details. If you want to send someone a MMS message from the net get to Lycos Mobile its a cool feature

Bazboy,

Yeh picked up two from Amsterdam the other week. But you can get your T68 upgraded at a service centre. A friend who has a T68 has booked his phone in the Warrington service centre for Friday and they say the upgarde will include MMS.

The Lycos MMS sending service is up and running. God know why since no phones in UK can receive the messages yet

Good luck

All i know is that a friend of mine who has the T68 called Nova yesterday afternoon to book his phone in. He asked them does the upgrade include the MMS and they said yes. So he is taking it down on Friday to have it upgraded. They say it will only take an hour. Will post here when I have seen the results of the upgrade.
