i have a T616(p900's in the mail)
everywhere i go and try to bluejack, IE the mall, the movies, starbucks, my High school.... it never finds any devices, i mean i know how to use bluetooth, i use it on my G4. But when i dose find something new, it asks me to put in a password,.....on ANY device it finds,,,,my g4, my dads g4, my moms t616...it always prompts for a password. Can anyone help me, ive read the storys on jellies websir=te and i got all excited but it always prompts for a pass right off the bat!! IF ANYONE help i would be GREATLY appriciated |

Try putting 0000 as password. It stays as default password.

It sounds like you are trying to pair with the other phone which you don't do if you are bluejacking. pairing requires confirmation from both sides so clearly you don't want that.
to bluejack just create a contact, or note, or whatever and choose to send it via BT. After a short time you will be presented with a list of devices that are detected around you and you simply select that device and the item is sent and no passwords etc are required.

NONONO!
No passwords are needed. When you're prompted for a passwrod, it means your phone is trying to pair with the other device. And for reasons of anonimity, you don't want to do that.
So what you should be doing, is first prepare a note or a v-card. Then select that note or v-card, choose 'more', then 'send' then 'via bluetooth' after which your device will initiate a search for nearby devices and you can send without pairing first.
