no you can't... the java engine must be implemented in the firmware in order to work...

And could anyone help me in a sonyericsson service? I think it'd be easier to put JAVA into my T68i as to build BLUETOOTH into a t300 or 310, and T68i looks better!!!

if you search around in this forum, you may read some rumours that SE may implement Java en the future for T68i......

no... will not implement Java in future releases for T68i.... no reason for them to take that action since they have released newer models with Java... and then there is the hardware requirements, it do requires a bit of memory to have a java engine

ok my mistake.. it was just something i read on this forum soo..... it is just a rumour..

and well youre right... about the newer models.......

but still there are lot of faithfull T68i owners out there and we got 4 new games with the new sw upgrade R8

i was wondering if the firmware version that you guys have have the same contents as that found here in the philippines? i asked an authorized dealer and was unsure of her answer. can any of you guys help? thanx!

T610, which is the first java enabled phone of (excluding the P800, it is a smartphone), has two processors; one AVR and one ARM... Even, with two processwors you know how slow java is in the T610... If you consider that the ARM one is the same as the T68i and the AVR one is faster than the ARM one, even if they put java in the T68i you will probably end up only launching the games but being unable to play...
