The new year has kicked off with somegood news for all gprs users on o2 pay and go. The current unlimited usage for it was dueto terminate on 31st Jan. However through a recent internal memo sent too2 employees this has now beenextended to 31st March. Great news!

Thanks for the info.
Is it only for 02 pay and go what about the contract ones?
Knowledge is two fold. Knowing a subject or knowing where to find out about a subject. I rely on both... That is why I come here.

i had a look on their web site and they still say its free until Jan 31st.
will call them tomorrow to get GPRS activated and see do they know when the free period ends. P800 is saying gprs is not allowed on O2 UK eventhough i had it working on vodafone UK.

Yeah,

Just got is set up on my t610. Where about on there site does it say about it being free?

Does anyone here think that GPRS is a big improvment over wap? It might just be my phone, but it seems to take longer to connect, and sites don't seem to load all that much quicker.

edit:
Weird,

I turn the phone off and then back on, now gprs is really quick and connect instantly. Is much better than wap, however wap is perminatly free on o2 PAYG online.
