Is T68 still in production? |

Now that the T68i seems to be on general sale, I was wondering if anyone knew if SE would stop making the original T68? I know they are roughly the same phone with different appearances, but I would assume SE would stop making the T68 to cut production costs?
I noticed on the Carphonewarehouse site that you can only select the T68i

I would guess that stop making the T68 as the T68i is its successor. Itll always be updated and in 6 months time again, theyll be summit else out to replace the T68i too!!!!
To answer your question m8, yes i think they have/will stop the t68 now.

They stopped production of both T39 and T68m a couple of weeks ago. No more phones will be delivered to the stores.

The first T68m was released around the end of summer, I think. The "m" stands for "multi" to represent that the T68 is a triband phone. Though some T68's, like mine, doesn't have the "m" at the bottom of the phone, all T68's are T68m. |

i've had 4 r1b's from sweden week 46-48 so far... no problems with the build quality...
reason i have had 4 :
1. refused to work on my providers gsm1800
2. human error
3. bluetooth started crapping up
4. works like a charm (1 month in use so far) |

T68m was released commercially late october-01. In another tread here at Esato the earliest T68's was made W39-01.(Mine is W43 -bought it nov-3.rd).
I have seen T68i's from W10-02, so they have had a production-overlap of a couple of weeks before they stopped producing T68m. I don't find it strange that they stopped the production since the differences are just cosmetic and SW.(Just two more weeks and we get the same SW).
