well... depends... have you made the change yourself? and what cover is on it now (and what was the original cover)?
a non-warranty update usually costs around €31 (~28USD) |

the only way to access the EMMA server is:
- start a company
- make a deal with to become a servicepoint with the lowest service level (meaning you are only allowed to update phones)
then you have access to it
or....
get yourself some good contacts with a servicepoint and you can get how manyu updates you want

I think it really depends on the service center itself... sometimes they have nothing better to do and ask you for all the papers and shit... and others just take your phone and 'do it' without even asking for your receipt!!!! I would put your original cover back on though... you can change it afterwards... or maybe even ask them to place it on there.... |

then you have no warranty left... to update it... change back to the original cover (make sure it's not obvious that some unauthorized person has opened the phone) and get it updated on warranty.... |

Hi there is a lot of dirt under the joystick of my T68m that i can't clean,
so if i want to clean it the only solution would be to remove the front
cover.
1) Would removing the front cover void my warrenty
2) if it dosen't void the warrenty, is it done by unscrewing the four screws
at the back of my phone.
I AM CONFUSED...
So dose that mean i can change the cover at a service point for a charge insted voiding the warranty. (In the email i sent i didn't really want to tell them that i'll be changing the cover) |

I thought it automatically voided the warranty if you changed the cover and that the Service Centres won't do them for you?
And I was told that the upgrade to the t68i software WILL cost, although they haven't said how much yet....
I agree it should be free if your phone is under warranty... |
