I enjoyed Family Guy when it used to be on. Although the Simpsons rock. I haven't got cable so i can't watch any of the new episodes of the Simpsons.

Yep, have to agree with Masseur on this one. What other cartoon contains so much sarcasm? Most cartoons rely on in your face humour. The Simpsons is so subtle. Little comments and background antics make this the cartoon thats at the top me the pile, in my opinion. Skin

Surely The Simpsons are the funnies, specially Homer's stupidity, but my legendary cartoons are 'Ren and Stimpy' and 'Tom and Jery'. You can't have funny cartoons without at least two characters! :)

The Simpsons has certainly proven itself as being consistantly funny for quite a span of time on the air, however I feel that there are some younger shows that are taking things a bit further and are to a degree better. Adult Swim on Cartoon Network showcases some of these shows including Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Sealab 2021.
