I'm wondering if the P900 is worth the difference in price. Any users of both, help. I can't make up my mind. I've been saving up for ages and now just don't know if it's really worth waitina another two months.
Thanks a lot.

Hi, the P800 is a great phone but generally has the feel of a prototype, lots of people who bought it were surprised that lots of things were missing, BUT it is very usable (I happily used one for 10 months) i cconsider the P900 to be a good replacement for the P800, P900 is not just a simple upgrade, it's a far better overall device, its worth another £150 ontop of the P800.

Thanks for the answer, but here in Poland the difference in price is about £250 and this is not exactly the same for us. I mean that it's a lot more money for an average Pole. We earn less. Moreover, I would have to wait for P900 a bit more anyhow, because it hasn't been offered by any of the network operators yet.

I'm starting to ask myself the same question, but the answer is probably easier than anyone might expect. Who's going to change that "crap country" into a properly functioning, civilised superpower state if not we ourselves? And we'll do it, but for the time being must suffer from lack of some hi-tech available to you, which you take for granted and is too difficult for us to get.

@mores, AVRAFC lives in the UK, it IS a haven, everyone wants to move here, unlike some countries (USA for example) where people THINK they want to live untill they actually visit it

Little AVRAFC,

you have no basis for judging another country and where someone
lives, as you have not lived in both.....for any considerable amount of time!

Stop being young, grow up and leave countrys, race and place alone.

Don't be so quick to judge so quickley....espeically if your not part of the 'real world' yet so you can't even judge the UK and it's lifestyle.

Scott... yes, the US is behind in mobile technology. Up until a few years ago, they didn't know what SMS was.

They are slowly (and I really mean SLOWLY) catching up... I think they even have GPRS in some areas now!!!

But in general, the US is still a long way behind. This is generally because they did not want to adopt a foreign standard (they developed CDMA, and did not want to use a European system) and since the CIA and NSA were freaked that they didn't have a back-door to listen in on GSM conversations, they didn't allow it into the US until much later... with certain modifications that allow them to eavesdrop onto any US GSM phone, they finally allowed GSM 1900 into the US.

Right now, the T68i is still considered one of the more advanced units in the US... the T610 is rare, and the P800/900 are still generally unheard of in the normal (geek community not included) population.
