Hi,

I'm a new convert to Sony Ericsson...Just got my Z600 today. Am already trying out most of the software available here.

Have created my own theme using the latest Theme Creator Pro downloaded today, but I seem to be stuck now. I wanted to send the them over to my phone via Infra Red. I can see the connection, but the "Send" button on the Theme Creator toolbar is missing. I can see it on the website's screen caps, but not on my version. I'm still on Win 98 SE.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers!
Faith

no, what you have to do is to save your theme, intoi another folder... for example: create a new folder on your desktop... name it whatever you want, for example " Z600" layouts... than head back to TCP and choose, SAVE WITH ANOTHER NAME.. then name your theme, and save it in your new folder... then, youy need to send it.. download FLOAT'S MOBILE AGENT, from this link http://sourceforge.net/projects/fma install it and connect your phone.. then choose DOWNLOAD TO PHONE, and a window will pop up.. find your theme by browsing to the correct folder, and send it over... there you go!! hope this helps

Oh dear how very complicated With you can just go into your 'My themes' folder, right-click the theme you want, 'send to' 'bluetooth' and then select your (paired) device.

can you not just 'send to' with ir?

Hi Hi,

Thanks for help. I gave up on looking for the button. Instead, I downloaded the send file software, and from there, send the .thm file to my phone from my pc via IR. It worked, except, sometimes when I start using the send file software, the blue screen comes up, some exception error, but I just hit enter, and it works fine.

I'm now happily playing with ringtones & themes. I tell you, from a Nokia 8250 for the past two years, to this, is one BIG change. Hee Hee! I loooove my new phone!

Thanks!

I am a big J-Pop fan, so I just search the web for my favourite midi files, and then use anvil studio to edit the midi (volume, instrument, length) and voila! I have a ringtone.

If anyone's interested, I could share, but I just hope I'm not doing something illegal...or have I already done it when I downloaded the midis off the web? Oops...
