I had The connect suite for my T610 installed and working, but...
I had a weird problem where bluetooth only worked on all but my main login in XP pro, so I made a new login where bluetooth serviced worked and I could connec to the phone. I uninstalled the suite from my original login and tried to re-install it on my new login no go. Now I'm stuck in a circle of uninstall/reinstalls. One error complained that I did not have admin permission, I did. I then got the suite install to finish without error, but the monitor directory was empty. So I installed it by itself (via the sub-directory on the CD.) Ok, now all the files are there, but the suite install complains about not seeing the monitor install and trying to run the tray icon gives an internal error 1002.
I'm about to go by a mac at this point. I've spent a good 6 hours today on it, the software just won't install cleanly, on any login (I've made two new ones now). I done the whole clean the registry, reboot, try again, but nothing works. I'm wordering why the very first install worked and now none will.
Any ideas? |
