P800 and HBH-65 Voice Dialling issue |

Hello guys and girls,
Just got a nice HBH-65 for Crimbo and it seems to work fine except one thing, I cant record voice contacts via the headset, and therefore can voice dial via the headset either.
I have paired the headset and phone correctly, and I have tried the P800 bluetooth setting on "on" and "discoverable".
Help me please before I go mad........

I don't think you need to record them via the headset. Try to record them from your phone and then voice dial.

Then I'd think that the problem lies in the P900 and not in the headset (probably not a real problem but a "feature"). Someone mentioned earlier that if you get into the voice dialing menu and get ready to record the voice you want to record via the headset, then press first the headset button to establish a connection between that and the phone and then press the "record" button you can record via the headset. I don't know if it works and he also mentioned that it would take a lot of timing. Good luck! I will search for you now but thought you might want to try this meanwhile.

Her we go. Some links related to your problem:

Hope that these helps. Most of them are not about HBH-65 that you were talking about but the principal might be the same...

Ok, been playing lol
Kinda got it working, my magic word is "dial". If I say dial then a name it works, but I still have to press the answer button to transfer it to the headset.
If I press the answer button first then wait for the beep, it works.
If its been a few minutes since using the headset, an incoming call will only ring on the handset (dont know if this is normal) until I press the headset answer button.
So this wouldnt work very well with the handset in my pocket as it needs to here my voice still, and as for incoming calls I would still need to hear the handset to know there is a call waiting.
So Im nearly there.......
