Lovely selective quoting there!
Quote:
| "It was a Nokia. We later heard she had used a replacement battery." |

and

| They were always related to faulty batteries from independent electronics manufacturers, the spokesman said. |

If you fit dodgy exploding batteries to one, yes. In fact, if you fit dodgy third-party exploding batteries to *anything*, it'll explode.
My point is, if the battery wasn't made by Nokia, you can't blame Nokia for an exploding battery. |

Any brand can fit the description!
While exploding batts. are usually unstable 3th party cheap crap,
malfunctioning original charger is obvious straight blame for original manufacturer... I had a phone panasonic longtime ago, the charger blew up from inside one day as i stuck into a powersocket.
Luckely i wasn't injured!
But so you know, it can be any brand.
(The bizar thing is, most men/me2 usually have the phone in oure pants pocket, right next to your.... :D)

I can't believe I'm trying to knock SE here (I *am* still a SE fan, just one who now owns a Nokia!), but didn't SE just recently recall a load of chargers, because they can catch fire or something? |
