Today , when I was doing my job with friends , my T68 was in my bag. When I was back to call my mother I saw that thing on the screen. I guess that a f*****g b*****d sat on my bag so on phone or scratched it. Now there is a big mixed-colour spot on my phone. Well , you know , when you press hardly on a LCD screen a spot appears there. It's like that on my phone , but it didn't disappear. I think it's permanent. What can I do by myself ? Or must I send it to Service Center ? Will I pay for it ? |

Well, no idea what the policies are in Turkey, but here in the UK..i had the same(ISH!) problem...
Only difference is that i've got insurance...but 'cosmetic damage' isnt covered on it.
I asked the shop where i bought the t68 from if i could have the casing replaced, they said...yes, but you pay the 29.99 (UKP) excess.
My scenario probabley doesnt relate to you, but thought i'd state it. You should be able to get it sorted at a SC, or even sent off to SonyE, but you'll probably have to fork out for it.

Thanks all.
I went to service point today , and directly they said this problem is not included in warranty. They changed the screen in 15 minutes and took 80 million TL (About 55$) of mine. Yeah , I swore a lot |

I've got insurance + warranty for 1 years. But they didn't accept the warranty and s*it , I didn't ask if the insurance was acceptable. |

exactly the same thing happened to my g/f's phone. you got a good price at the service center though; i didn't even ask how much it costs here, because people here on the forum told me it cost some 180 euro in europe. so i ordered it online for US$50 (+$3.40 for delivery anywhere in the world; from GSMSQUARE.com), and changed it myself. it's VERY easy to change (with totonox's web page showing how to get the cover off). |

AY shud have claimed it on yer insurance, then you would have either got it repaired or replaced with a brand new one (depending on what you told them!!).

At least you guys are showing me why insurance costs so damn much I don't bother getting it... cause Peeps keep faking claims!

This would likely be a valid claim: accidental damage by a 3rd party. |

That isn't a problem with the casing, it's the display screen inside the casing.
