I have t68i. I can charge my phone and it's seems everything OK. But after one day, even if I didn't use my phone, even if battery indicator shows about 80% battery energy is still full, suddenly my phone gives warning please recharge your phone, and this battery indicator becomes empty.
This problem i had with my Siemens M35, and what is very strange, that i had to modify my software, but not to change my battery to solve the problem.

That's right. It might be a software problem and not a battery problem. Have you tried not to charge the phone when that happens and see how long it lasts. If it really turns off after a while it probably is a battery problem. If it dosen't but stays on for a couple of days then it probably is a software problem and it needs to be upgraded.

Could be a number of reasons. Two I think of right away:

1) Your battery could just be old and need replacing. Batteries don't last forever and they experience current drops when they are beginning to wear out...
2) Your battery could need some reconditioning. Make sure you REALLY decharge your battery (for instance by leaving a game on that keeps that the screen light on - the most efficient way to consume battery power) and then recharge the battery for a long time. There is a thread about this also somewhere on the board...

It's old. Just like that and this is the most important sign.

Hm... I noticed one more interesting sign. Battery indicator shows, that battery is still about 30% full. But.. phone gave me this "Baterry empty..." and red light started to blink instead of green on the topleft corner of the phone ...

@ idealas: if u still have ur receipt from the shop u can go there and show them that ur battery holds no more and they have to exchange it.In the warranty it says 12 moths ,not 10 so u might still have a shot. BUT if u ask me, that`s pretty usual although i had phones 3 years (other brands, not SE) and the battery was still good ( 24 hrs of stand-by).
The other sign, the one with the 30% is all the same.No matter the percentage when u make a call, the battery discharges.I told u, it`s gone to acumulator`s heaven

701 is right. Take it back while it still has a warranty. Get it replaced, while you still can. We are all speculating here. Just give them back your phone and let them sort this out.

Warranty doesn't go here. You know the Lithuania? I'll be bad patriot of my country, but here the most phones are bought from hands. Only now there seems to appear official dealers selling phone for 50cents (you know this trick ). I'll try to upgrade it first, and after that to buy a new battery.

Happy New Year!

Before replase battery try this procedure: Remove battery from phone and clean contacts of battery and on the phone. Put battery again on the phone turn it on and after few minutes move side switch down two times - on the screen you must see battery status - if you can see it you not clean well contacts. One week ago my frend have the same problem. In battery of more Ericcson's have chip that monitor battery condition and middle pin of contacts use for data comunication between this chip and phone. One more thing - only original battery have this chip inside
