What one is the best, bluetooth, Infrared or data cable |

So I aint searchin because i cant be arsed to read 28 pages of off topic results. Which one if the best to connect my T610 to my pc, i want to download ringtones, games (mophun(if possible) and java) themes and wallpapers to my phone easily, quickly and for a reasonable price, i also want something which will be compatible with all programs and is so easy to use even i could use it. any help appreciated p.s i live in the uk so any uk sites in £ would be good thanks

Yeah,so,bluetooth is the fastest and the more expensive.

Bluetooth also has the ability to connect up to 10 different devices at any one time, plus a range of anything upto 100 metres (long range) however most bluetooth devices maxium range is only 10-15 metres, unless i am mistaken.

Bluetooth is also the most difficult to configure given the three options. IR is probably the easiest (and slowest), but it's built into my laptop so I don't have a link for an external IR, though they should be easy to find. |

I dont know about this, i searched for bluetooth and infra dongles and the bluetooth was cheaper on every result. I think i am going to go and buy this one http://www.dabs.com/uk/productview?quicklinx=2Q8M?refererid=DT when i have money. anyone got this to tell me its good?.
p.s i am thinking about downloading themes, wallpapers, games and ringtones. can i download all of these with the bluetooth dongle i gave a link to?

Virtually all BT dongles are identical on the inside. The different prices reflect different levels of customer support, and bundled software(which is important for BT).
You want one with the latest software (Widcomm 1.4.x.x). If it doesn't come with it, and you can't download it from their website, you'll have to hack it. It is not difficult, but may not be something you want to do. |
