Yesterday I had a bad experience with my new T68i (just flashed to version R2B025).
I came home from work and a friend told me he couldn't call me on my phone. I tried to send an SMS with my phone and it failed! Then I tried to call someone but nothing happend! I was like the phone was disconnected from the GSM network! Other than that it looked OK. Almost full battery, good signal and it didn't say 'SOS calls only' as it does when you can't connect to service provider. Then I turned off the phone and back on and then it worked ok again!
Anyone else seen this? Is it only R2B025 that does this? Should I return my phone as it is only a week old?

It might have been because it was just flashed,...but I dont really know ?? Or it might have been some network/operator-probs ???

I havent experienced this,...never had problems with R2B-025 and R2A-014 for that sake.

This is the problem Telenor had recently. Go to www.telenormobil.no for an explaination.

I thought there was something wrong with my phone, but after Telenor announced this, I downloaded their new GPRS settings(which they said would fix it) and it has never happened again.

It's probably your provider's fault.

Okay but will first get my GPRS in a week or so they say. (I have TDC in denmark).
Lets wait and see if it happends again the next few days. If yes I will get another T68i monday. (that will be my 4th T68i in one month!)

Hi, here in Belgium we have a problem with the network of Proximus, ssame thing : you cant call somebody or it's the wrong guy, it takes ( sometimes ) 2 hour for an SMS to be received, .... One day a friend of my have tried 11 times to make a call ( on my number ) and I had received 0 call. Strange but can we do ... nothing, just waite.

Maybe your network have the same problem.

One2one used to be like that. dont know what they're like anymore, on Vodafone now. much better.

Sound like phone fault tho. It used to happen with nokias, like 5110 and 3210.
