Last Dec 14,2003 i subscribed with Suncellular and got two lines. Of course i got 2 units with the subscription, a t610 and a p900. Unfortunately, only the t610 was available at that time. They informed me that the p900 will be available on the 4th week of Dec. But initially they told me that it will arrived at the 2nd week! I just called them and now they are telling me that the availability of the p900 is moved to January!!! Grrr..I've already paid for the unit and I'm using the sim now as well.
Who should i talk to?? Do you know the number of Sony Ericsson??
I just feel i have to report this incident. |

SE ph has nothing to do w/ this..
it's sun sole responsibility and you should not pay for the unit/line unless the unit will be given to you.
i guess you just have to talk to the sun people and ask for cancellation/termination of that line and get the refund.

tsk, tsk, tsk - just another unfortunate Filipino victim here. The best way is to report the incident directly to "Mr. Palengke" himself. DTI Sec. Mar Roxas. Your dilemma will surely fall under the consumer-protection-program. Make a report, try to know the DTI consumer hotline. As they say, there is no Philippine law that states that establishments be allowed to pen on their receipts the "no return-no exchange" policy. Good luck mate ! If that does not work still, better look for Mr. Equalizer himself or better yet - RAMBO ! |

I can't see what contacting SE will do. Really you shouldn't have accepted the unit if it isn't in stock. Personally i'd terminate the contract and go somewhere else. Try reading your contract first tho. Might be something in it to help you.

That's strange.
I got a 3660 at their Galleria branch last Dec 25 and they said that they have the P900 available! I even asked twice to make sure because my cousin wanted to get one.

I'm only going by what other people are saying. But we've not heard anything for a while so i think the original poster may have got the unit.

Then again...still don't have my P900!!! Grrr..lol
Just came from vacation so i wasn't able to check your posts till this morning. Anyway Happy new year to all of you! Not so happy though because as i've said, they (Sun) still don't have it. Accdg to them, there was a problem in Customs. I think the other Telcoms like Globe and Smart don't have p900 stocks too.
I'll check DTI about my consumer rights though.
There was a time that their unit was available through the dealers at the Sun mall booths. But at the time when i purchased mine, both the dealer and Sun don't have stocks. And since, i'm applying for a line, I've opted to purchase from Sun because they assured me that it will be available on the 4th week of December.
Actually I'm starting to hate the Suncellular Jingle Song...And groan evertime i see the p900 commercial on tv. I think i'm having that p900 anxiety attacks again. |

@jasin
You from San Juan pala. I stay in Greenhills, San Juan too
If you've seen the Sun commercial where a guy was making libre to his friends because he was able to save up because of the free load Sun gives, that's it! Na-iirita ako sa background music eh. It goes like...tan tan tan tan...tan tan tan tan tan tan tan taaan...something like that. It's doing my head in actually!lol
I applied sa Sun Shop Shang. I texted the Manager (who is now my textmate) the other day and she said the units will arrive on or before the 15th of this month.
I really hope it arrives by the said date or else, i will have to bring my "banig" and camp at the Sun Shang Shop and stay, sleep, eat there till they give my P900!
Oh well...Patience is a Virtue indeed |
