Belkin bluetooth USB adaptor help need!!! T610 |

I got BELKIN USB adapter for christmas yesterday so i installed it but when i inserted the adaptor into the usb port it didn't start up the new found hardware wizard and thats why i don't think it working. A small box did appear and it said a few things about a new device found then dissapered. everything is normal with the program i think apart from i can't connect to my T610? it doesn't even show up on a search from either my comp or phone. i realy could do with a person 2 person help through MSN or AOL so if any1 wouldn't mind pming me there addy that would be so great! i have all these grat themes and stuff on my comp and want to get it on my phone!!!! lol

Did you installed the software first, before inserting the bluetooth adapter? |

you have to
A) install software and restart BEFORE inserting dongle into the port, and restart on command.
B)then shutdown pc and insert dogle. start up pc.
c) make sure bt on your phone is switched on and that you have selected visibliity on the handset as "visible".
D) search for device, it should then pop up on the pc, and on the hand set it should ask if you want to pair it. it willask for a code, i entered 1111, but any 4 digits should do.
E) once it is installed, go to:
My Bluetooth Places\Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood\your phone
Right click on "serial port 1"
F) from pop up menu select "connect bluetooth serail port" and your pc will assign the bluetooth to a virtual serial port.
G) when using progs, eg FMA, in the connection settings, you must select serial connection, and change the port to the same one your pc assigned the bluetooth to...eg, the blue tooth on my pc is assigned to serial port 9.
That should work, i got one yesterday too, and is now working perfectly. | |
