Hi, i got hold of a stolen t610 and i checked that it was blacklisted by phoning virgin up and it was. basically i cant call out obviously so i figured the only way to get the phone working would be to change the IMEI code with the one on another phone (my old old 3210). but a few questions:

1. ive read up on stuff like use div8.4 with a terminator dongle. is a terminator dongle the same as a data cable?

2. with this software to change imei can a usb data cable be used or does it have to be a seriel cable?

3. if i change the imei and unlock 4 locks closed etc will the phone work with the imei that i use from my old phone and i'll be able to call out with the same sim as if i were using my 3210 but it was just a t610 if you no what i mean. when the phone sends the imei code to the tariff does it send any other information like the phone model for example or anything else that could get the imei blacklisted again?

4. ive heard that to check 4 locks closed you type >**> but how do you get the > ?

5. does anyone no where i can get a full version of div8.4 or se fighter or something. and does anyone no anywhere where i can get a diagram of a se data cable so i can make my own coz there hugely overpriced in the uk at £30!!! wot a f**kin rip off!

i need help because i like this phone and i dont fancy buying similar phone for £200+. and i need to no wether this will work because if i try it and it doesn't that thats £30 and a t610 down the drain.

So you're posting on here declaring that you've bought a stolen phone (is that not receiving stolen goods?) and also posting your email address?

Do you not think that's a little silly?

I hope you are unable to get the phone working. Wny should anyone help you to get a phone workin that you don't deserve to have. Someone has paid their money for that phone and now its been stolen by some low life.
It would be best fitting if you get caught.
Go get a job and EARN money to BUY things you want instead of taking other peoples hard earned stuff!
You'll be very unpopular on Esato!

I don't give info about stolen property!!

Even changing the IMEI is not correct to me. If you buy a phone, then it's you'rs and you don't have to change the IMEI.

Call virgin a return the phone!!!!
