I have had my t68i a litle while now and there are a couple of things in the design that I miss
I miss the SE LOGO on tha back or perhaps in the front of the phone, the green-dotty thing u know. The "m" had the Ericsson logo on the back, would`ve been cool with a SE logo there on the "i"
And I really think they should have put a T68i print below the keys on the phone, or perhaps a T68 print, like the "m" has just above the mic.
And the blue buttons seem to have different lighting.. since the left row of buttons is very noticeable lesser blue than the 2 right rows of buttons, is it like this to the other "i" users in this forum?
1,4,7,* are more purple than blue on my phone... very noticeable in a dark room! And I dont like it...
Well, guess i`m just very "pirkete" (norwegian word) |

yeah, and one more thing, the volumecontrol button was very firm in the beginning and not making a rattle sound.
But now that I have used it a bit, it really rattles almost just as much as the "m" |

I have absolutely no probs whatsoever with mine.... I think you should go and bring it to a service center and they should be able to do something with it..... |

I like where the print is, seems like a good place. As for the lights (Checking this now in a dark room while I'm writting this, hehe), they look even to me.
However, I don't like the white light for the Yes/No and the light leaking through the joystick. I wish it was a different color.

hmmm.. so the blue lights on the 4 buttons on the left side of the phone is equal to the rest?? it is clearly a difference on mine, but I dont think that is a reason to get a new one, or???
Just go to the service center and say, look carefully at the buttons, the light is weaker on that side...
I think they`ll just laugh at me...
or do you think I should go and complain? |

Hehe, they'll just laugh at me. The laughed at me when I wanted to upgrade to R2B025. They think we are all mad.....
BUT I notice the same thing as you Skjalg, the key led's...
And the right english term is "picky"....... |

Another thing that they could have removed or at least covered or something is the white light that leaks thru the sides of the unit. This somewhat bothered me when i used a T68 before coz it somewhat made the casing cheap. Oh well... you really cant get the best of both worlds

I think it is okay to be picky! You should be satisfied with your phone when you pay so much money for it!
I personally think the built quality is too low on the T68 phones (also the i). The phones look good have great set of features but they do have a cheap plastic feel to them. Too many T68 phones have bad keypad leds or loose batteries. And the volume rattle sound only makes it worse.
Here in denmark you can get your money back within 14 days. So I suggest that if you can get all your money back within 14 days then you should use that to get a T68 that you are happy about! |
