For SE phone in general, and the T68i in particular, do fw upgrades have to be done sequentially or relatively sequentially? In other words,
has anyone experienced any problems skipping firmware versions when upgrading their mobile's firmware?

I'm upgrading my T68i from R2G to R8A (don't ask why I skipped all the other upgrades!?) but SE has warned me I do this at my own risk as the phone might crash during the procedure. The phone is past its 15 month warranty period. Any thoughts about if I should go ahead or not?

@yyzpek, All firmware upgrades re designed to supersede ALL previous.
The firmware is not "added" to but COMPLETELY renewed.

Reminder; milk, sugar, crisps, post letter.

I've just recently had my old t68m (r1b) flashed to r8a and turning it into a full t68i software wise without any problems, so it can be done!
