I have a problem:
At the top of the page is a number of new posts...
it grows from day to day.last week,I think,everything was OK,I logoff and then back on and the number of new posts vary from 2 to 10...
not it's 5586,and it's still growing...
anybody knows how to work this out...?

its the number of posts since you were last logged on.
you can clear it at the bottom of the "new posts" page by clicking "Mark all posts read".
There is also the possibility to "Erase Esato forum cookies" in "Edit Your Preferences" which has the same effect
take a look at this thread from the last couple of days...
Set new posts to 0
