Is it possible to change the colour of the keypad LEDs to blue like that on the T68i. Cos I am thinking of changing the shell of my T68m to T68i at a service center, but doubt they would change the LEDS! Anyway my reservation price on an officially converted shell would be around £30 (47EUR)!

Im getting both bored and frustrated with my T68m partly becuause of the postponement of the upgrade and having the damn thing since nov (quite long for me!).

Thinking of getting a Samsung T100, but the prices will be way too HIGH at launch around £450 SIM FREE, higher than T68i and its not really better apart from advanced colour screen!

I want a phone similar in size and specs as the T68, but doubt one will arrive soon equally as impressive if not better!

sure you can change the leds (but it requires good soldering skills).... but after that you can kiss the warranty goodbye even if you do make a good job changing them, you might have future problem with your phone that under normal circumstances would be on warranty, but since the servicepoint notice that the leds are changed, you'll have to pay for it....

It may be possible to paint the leds with a transparent paint. I did that once with a car stereo that had orange backlight, while the rest of the instrumentation lights in my car were green. The stereo actually had tiny lightbulbs, with something orange rubber-ish thing that most
closely could be described as condoms for mice pulled over each light bulb. I removed those, and painted the bulbs with a transparent green plastic model paint (Tamiya I think it was) with a perfect result. One small problem was that the bulbs had to be repainted about once a year, because the heat from the bulbs tended to burn away the paint.

But again, forget the warranty, since it will be obvious that you opened the phone, but again, if you change the shell, that too would
indicate that.

Take an insurance before you try anything like that!
