Hello, the SH 888 does not have a PDA so a sync will not be possible.

However with the infrared modem and the right SW on your pc /laptop it should be possible to store your phonebook. I never tried it with a SH 888 though. Go to the sonyericsson mobile internet site and see what there is to get for SH 888. the URL is wap.sonyericsson.com

Succes,

btw why still a SH 888 ?

The Ericsson Mobile Office suite that came on the CD that comes with the phone does the work, but that version only works in windows 95.
but I think there should be other 3rd party softwares out there on the internet that might work.

About the SH888, I don't think it is very strange that someone still uses it, it's a high-quality phone that very unlikely breaks, due to its
metal chassie and simple design, yet a very powerful phone, with 900/1800 frequency bands, IR port, built in modem, etc. It was the
best they could do at Ericsson when it was first released.
I am currently using mine, since my T39 is sent in for a warranty repair. The SH888 has NEVER been sent in. Better quality in those days... The firmware has been flashed a couple of times, though.
