Yea all I have found with iMelody on the T68i is you can turn the green LED on and off, the backlight on and off (I think this may turn the green and red leds on and off with it) and the vibrate on and off.
These are done by hitting the option menu key (under yes) in the Composer on the T68i.

if you REALLY want to see what it looks like with all three LEDS lit, just enter the service test: > * < < * < * , then "service tests" , then "LED/Illumination".

Yeah, the iMelody is the best way to do this...
