Just heard a rumor that SE is working on OR is ready to release a Bluetooth headset (like the HBH-15) with a built in MP3 player.....
Is it just me or? |

Interestingly this is not a mere rumor!
At Cebit 2002 in March SonyEricsson demonstrated a prototype of such a device.
What it can do is store Music in Atrac3 Format (Sony's equivalent to Mp3) and play it over a bluetooth stereo headset.
Nice thingy. But if its gonna ever be produced commercially is yet to be decided.....
@Super G: By the way, the music playing device was OF COURSE NOT integrated in the headset! Its a seperate little device you can clip to your shirt or store in your pocket or whatever.. and then there is an ordinary headset with the BT technology.

Right. It indeed would make more sense 
But then I guess you might loose much in quality.
I don't know the max data rate for bluetooth, but I would guess some MP3 might indeed suffer the conversion. |

It will probably be like a HBH-20 with two earphones, ATRAC-3 and/or MP3-support and integrated bluetooth technology! Sounds like an interesting product, the exciting part for me would be available storage and price!
But I want one anyway though!
