Using a regular external ir transmitter/receiver, I'm not able to send my a background picture to my phone, I have followed all the instructions, and the picture follow the specifications. Can somebody help me? |

Some external IR adapters are reportedly incompatible. Try lowering the transfer speed. |

And if you have W2k you must patch it otherwise the IrCOMM is not working (you almost never get the picture complete) |

I lowered the speed. It didn't work. I'm using the ir adapter supplied with my casio wristcam. |

But is IR communicating? If it is, an icon will show up on the task bar at the bottom tell you a new device is found.
Just looked the IR driver at casio.com and it looks like a standard IR device(same driver as an adapter I use), so probably not a compatability issue.

It's communicating. It even makes a little sound when the phone is found and when the connection i broken (which happen often for no particular reason). When I send a picture, it says that the device is not set up to receive it, and I'm not that stupid, y'all didn't think that did you? |

It's not a matter of being stupid. We just start from the basics(because you didn't list everything you've done or your level of expertise with windows). Also even an expert can miss some simple basic steps.
IR disconnecting for no apparent reason - maybe com port conflicts?
