I just bought a HBH-35 and wonder if i can change the passkey for it using my T610. And wats the passkey actually for since i think the defualt for all bluetooth earpieces is 0000. Thks!

no, you cannot change the passkey of later headsets although you could on the first one or two (HBH-10 etc)

The passkey is used to confirm on both pieces of equipment that the pairing is valid.

In the case of headsets, since there are no keys to allow you to enter a passkey, and since the phone still has to go through the pairing operation to use the headset, the default passkey is 0000.
