Hi Guys,

Not so sure that all of this thread is posted in the right place, but I have a few questions:

What's the use of having a BT headset (say the HBH-60) connected to your PC/Laptop?
I mean, you don't have stereo sound, so no use for listening to music; maybe it can beep on the OS's sounds? What else?

The only real use I can see is for phone calls using Voice over DSL. Your laptop & DSL modem become a bigger phone, and you can use the BT headset just like with your cell phone.
Did anyone try that already?

Still no reply?

I knew I was doomed on this forum, but I didn't expect the "revealing" (?) to come so fast...

please, someone, help...

Edit
And by the way, let's face it, I'm a bit dizzy @ the office, so that doesn't help as far as the 'despair' side is concerned...

Actually, I have tried just that, to use my VoIP Phone service (iconnecthere.com) with my bluetooth headset so I can use it like a cordeless phoen and not be restricted to the desktop. So far I've only had partial success. I can hear ppl on the headset, but they can't seem to hear me. I tried recording sound using soundrecorder (sndrec32), it records, but when i play back the sound appears as if its being played back at twice the speed, probaly the reason why callers can't hear me when i use Iconnecthere. Why that happes, I am totally stumped, maybe some driver update will fix this issue.

All i can contribute is that Plantronics M3000/MSI-6967/PC/Marratech works like a charm!
We use it at work for Internet based education.
I have also tried it with MSN Messenger but my firewall/router didnīt seem too keen on co-operating..

@ThreeX: I too use the Plantronics M3000, in my case with a TDK PC card and connected via www.skype.com for completely free calls to other Skype users.
