How are people putting on wallpaper images on their t68i phones? What software is being used? Or are people just going to wap sites and downloading from there? I went to the se website, and it says that the wallpaper software is coming soon. I tried the t68 software on my laptop and tried to send via infrared and it didn't work. It didn't see my phone.
Thanks for your help |

I use photoshop for making background-images.
And I use IR to transfer my pictures to the phone.
You can also use the MyPictures program from the SE-site. You have to remember to download and install the MobilePhoneManager as well.
It can be downloaded on the same page as MyPictures.
You could also use other photo-programs, e.g. CorelPhotopaint.
All the program needs to be able to do, is to convert pictures into GIF/indexed images.
Yes, I'm keeping an eye on the WallpaperProgram from SE as well. It doesnt seem to be ready yet.
About Infrared : You dont need to send the picture from any program, when you're using infrared.
Just place the backgroundpicture you made in a folder or out on the windows/desktop screen,..rightclick image, and the option "send via infrared" should appear in the roll-down menu

I usually create them in Photohop 7, put 'em on my (home)server and download them with WAP
I've found that the Ericsson gateway (193.95.167.178) can handle large images (I think it's 8k max). |

The T68i can actually use 32 kb downloads via wap,..if the wap-gateway supports this
