Connecting Psion 5mx with T68 via infrared |

I have had no luck whatsoever connecting up my T68 with my Psion 5MX. My old Nokia 8210 used to work perfectly. Since the ERICSSON T68....nothing at all.
Does anyone have any ideas please.

What is the problem? You can't get it to function as a modem? Mine works fine with my T68. If sending files is the problem, then there is a post with a reference to some software for your 5MX which improves the IR sending |

You are correct, i cant get it to function as a modem. It doesn't make any connection at all. Could you run through the process, step by step for me and ill see if i can get it to work as i would like to be able to get my emails via my 5mx.

Actually I have an Ericsson MC218, where you can select infrared modem under "modems" in the control panel. But I am not sure if you have this option in a 5mx. What you could do is go to www.psion.com where you can download a "connectivity" update. If you install this on your 5mx it should be working. This update does not support the T68 but it support older types like T28 and R320. But it works. Try this.
