After looking at a lot of links recently, and being amazed by the themes that people (Sp@wn stands out but there are others) have made I had a go myself.

I have posted them in the order that I created them in... the first two are really pants, and half jobs so I've just posted links to the screen capture but my third one is okay and the fourth one I'm kinda happy with.

Now I just have to start getting a bit creative with the soft keys and try to improve the quality.
For some reason it doesn't seem very good so I'm gonna try with .jpgs instead of .gifs.

LOL

It was intended as a joke as to the competency of my theme making skills.

Maybe it didn't come across too well.
Sorry.

I'm actually 21.

Thanks for the comments.

I'll be re-making the P!nk theme (and a few others) soon but for now I'm experimenting with a few things.

I have some questions ... may need to make a new thread for them but will ask here for now.

1) The picture I use to make the glow effects on the desktop is incorrect for my particular phone. I have a Vodafone and they have obviously changed the desktop menus. Usually it doesn't matter if i make glow effects but for a recent theme I used a simple "stroke" effect and it became noticable.
Anyone have a Voda-specific desktop thingy. The one I have is the one from this tutorial :

2) I tried making a theme with JPG's instead of Gifs. Apart from the fact that it came out about 178k (rather than the usual 50k-60k) it didn't load on my T610.
The images weren't saved as progressive (I checked) they were saved as "Baseline". Anyone have any idea why it wouldn't show?

I went back though and changed all the JPG's to Gifs and here is my latest theme. I'm not giving up on the Jpgs... but for now these'll have to do.

what program do you use? if you using adobe photoshop just open the picture you wanna copy to .gif and press and hold "+shift+ctrl+alt+s" OR just go to "archive-->save for web"
you dont have to change anything there if you dont want to, just press save and you will have an ok picture to send to your phone/theme

That's what I used for the themes above.
Maybe the quality is down to the original pics... here's another one.

On this one her skin didn't quite come out the way it did in Photoshop, however I made my own simple softkeys... must remember to align them to the sides a bit more.

I'm learning slowly but surely.

EDIT : OOOPS
Forgot the latest one.
