Installed PC Suite, mRouter shows USB connected, however no phone is available in change phone, opening My P900 on desktop shows "not connected". Also, clicking the troubleooter does absolutely nothing.
Any ideas? This is happening on both my desktop and laptop PC's running XP Pro.
I have Sygate Personal Firewall set to allow mRouter, but even when I disable it nothing happens.

Try uninstall and re-install it again. Another problem could be just try to change the usb port you connect your sync station to. It's weird but Windows usb port behave like the wheather.

Btw, anyone can tell me whether P900 pc suite works on mac?

There are many things you could try; here are some:

1. Use a different USB port
2. Connect the synch station without docking the phone, then dock the phone. Try docking and un-docking the phone to see if you get a connection. Also try to reboot the phone. Sometimes I have the problem that the phone is not conncting to PC Suite.
3. Make sure on the phone under Control Panel/Connections/Cable that you have not selected PC Modem

Phone is not in modem mode. It's something with the connection with XP Pro I suspect coz it's happening with 2 of my PC's.

Alright guys,

I too had this problem today. Mine was working fine than it wont connect. What I did was the following:
1. Download the new sync software 2.0.1. the one you get when buing p900 is 2.0.0. Before installing it you have unstall the one before and al of its components.
2. Deactivate ore uninstall your firewall! This could be one thing causing the problem.
3. Go to the controll panell of your computer, find "system" (easy in clasical mode) and there choose the unitcontroller (think this is the english word). Right click on Ports and look at the speed. If not set at 115 200. Change it to this speed. Now go to the control panel on your phone and choose conections and cable. See that the speed is set on 115 200.

I hope this helps! What I have is XP Pro, Outlook 2003 (before 2002), PC Suite 2.0.1 and Phone R3C006.

May the force be with you

Lucas:

Thanks for the help but it still doesn't work;
PC Suite version is 2.0.1
I went into Device Manager and changed the baud rate to 115200 on Com 5, the stand's port listing.
My firewall is set to allow communication but even when I disable it the phone still doesn't connect.
Any other ideas?

My P800 also did this. I just deactivate the keylock everytime I connect it, then it works fine.

Omar, my man

Try checking if the com ports are right set. Start with checking the "unit controller" (se previus post). You said that yours was COM5. Check that this port is inline with your Phone monitor link, i.e. that even this program says COM5.

There are some threds in this forum. If you search on "sync" and "p900", you will find some more tips. Otherwise I can not help you. When I mailed SE with this problem they actually answered within an hour. So, if no succes mail them and ask for help (mention what you've already done, so they dont repeat what you've just tried)

Good Luck and may the force be with you

In the connection monitor check that the com port you're using is checked (but I guess you've already done this, haven't you?).
