BIG BIG problem with T39 |

Hello, this will be real short but need others oppinion and advice. My first T39 started malfunctioning after I lost it on the floor once. There was a little scratch just below the antenna. At first I has some trouble phoning people, I had to phone once, hang up and dial again. After a few days, I could not get a signal.
After a month, ericsson gave me a new T39. They did not tell me what the problem was. I have had this new phone for 3 weeks and was about to sell it (going to buy T68) when I lost it on the ground. There is a very small scratch the same place as before and the same problem.
I no I should not drop my phone at all, but it happens to everyone. This is the only phone I HAVE EVER had that does not work after ONE SINGLE DROP. (My friends call me The Mobile King because I change my phone every 3-4 months, hehe...)
WHAT THE H IS THIS?
Any experience with the Tsixtyeight? |

My T39 did that same thing. I didn't drop it, it just stopped working properly about 6 weeks after purchase. It would drop calls, fail to get siganl or show "SOS Calls Only" even when other phones on the same network had no problems.
I took it back to the Carphone Warehouse, they said they would upgrade the software. I don't think they did though, it came back with all the data wiped (lost my phone book, data accounts, calendar entries.... bloody annoying) and the same software version as before (R2K). Seems to be working now though. |
