I`m giving up now, for 8h I have tried all the stuff that all braine guys hade post in all the topics.
But I can`t get the ****** to work!! I get a new modem with com3 and it answer the Query... the "Phone Monitor Option" dont find any phone, I have disabled the other two com-ports but no luck.
Does the Microsoft BT that comes with the Explorer mouse work with the T610?? (there was a link to a pdf-file in the forum that suposed to tell what worked and what didn`t, but it was dead)
I have uninstalled and cleand out the register with all Sony Ericsson progs and reinstalled it again but no change.
I use WinXP Eng Home ed. and downloaded the latest prog. from ericsson.com

Have you called Microsoft's tech support? Tried searching through their knowledge base?
I was interested in Microsoft's , and that was about 3 months ago. I went through all that searching, calling and asking around. All I gathered is that, currently, their drivers does not support anything else but their own mouse and keyboard (and , if it is already out, their pen). This has been confirmed by the tech support of Microsoft.

unfortunately the microsoft bluetooth transceiver only supports the following profiles
-Hardcopy Cable Replacement
-Dial Up Networking
-Human Interface Device (for mouse & keyboard)
and the profile most used for phone connection and activesync etc is Serial Bluetooth Profile which microsoft does not support.

I have used my M$ Buetooth dongle with my P800 and used my Bluetooth mouse from M$ at same time. But you have to use drivers from widcomm ( ver. 1.4.1 or newer ), and you must change some hexadesimal numbers in the btsec.dll file. I found a tutorial at http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=8 , but i cant remember wich forum it is. Do a search there and you will find it i guess.

Well thanks for your answers all...
I`m only interested in sending pictures and to edit the phone book thru the BT device.
The site have removed that solution because of "legal issues" !!!
Crap I say, MS sux but that you all know already...
I hade the 3rd part drivers downloaded but i don`t know what hex value I should put in and where in the btsec.dll
It looks like the simplest to do is buy a REAL BT device with working drivers.. |
