hi. i have just purchased a t68i however it seems that the infra red port and bluetooth don't work (bluetooth light at the top doesn't flash even though it is switched on and also both the infra red and bluetooth say that there is no device found when i have another perfectly working t68i near it) does anyone know how i can fix this or how much it will cost to have it repair and where? (i live in cumbria so somewhere close by would be good as its an xmas present). There is another problem as the screen keeps frezzing e.g when i try and go into mms (my handset has been update to accept mms) as well as other menus. - does this mean i have to get it re-flashed? and again where and how much would this cost?
I really need some help as everything i've tried has failed. please please help thanks |

Is it under warranty? If it is, then having it reflashed should be free.
If having it reflashed with R8A doesn't get your and IR working, then have it replaced. A T68i should be working fine by now because most of the bugs have been addressed by the firmware.

I am not sure, but I think that you have to update your firmware.BTW my friend had R320s and ha was tring to send me a business card, but I couldn't recieve anything.I was recieveing everithing from other phones, but from his I couldn't.And when he droped a few times it started working. But you say that you can not do anything,I think you have to re-flash it.

no its warrenty has ran out. the cheapest quote i can get for it all to be fixed is £50. if seems as though it has been dropped on the bluetooth side as there are really bad scratches, therefore maybe its damaged inside - can this happen? thanks for the replies so far i'm very grateful.
does any one know of everyone online who is cheap and trustworthy to repair my t68i?
thanks again |
