Samsung to outsell Nokia by 2010 |

I'm sorry but the people here who think will get close to Nokia's market share, at least in the near term, are living in a dreamworld. However, Samsung has a good chance:

Well, seeing as Samsung have already pushed out of the top 5, they are clearly a force to be reckoned with. Over the last couple of years they have had a huge gain in market share while has been losing it. Samsung is certainly doing something right... |

I don't think its that easy to predict what the market will be like in that many years.
The popularity the T610 has gotten has incrased the chances of SE's sales increasing in thefuture especially if the release something else like the T610 that people love.
There is more choice in the market these days and people are going to start opting for other makes such as Seimens (e.g. MC60, SL55 and even SX1). And the Sendo X looks like it may take a large chunk of the Smartphone market.
An other is that by 2010 many companies will have there UMTS service up and running and will be aiming to get people on to these and Samsung would have to get out some pretty decent 3G phones. |
