What's better for connection?? HELP |

Hello!
I have problem... What's better : IRDA or Bluetooth? I have to upload some stuff to my t610 phone and i don't know which module i have to buy.... Maybye normall cable? In future i'm gonna ul lock my phone (SimLock) and i heard that it's impossible via BLUETOOTH or IRDA:D

if you are a novice and not too technical you will probably find IR easier to deal with IMHO and yes, you can only do unlocking functions with a cable

@mass is there any added advantage with a bt dongle?

Well the bluetooth software allows you to delete multiple files instead of one at a time like with irda. Also u dont have to have the phone in line as u have to with infared. I agree that infared is easier to work... |

Hmmm... I don't know... Bluetooth is more expensive but it's more comfortable.. IRDA is easier but i think a bit slower? And what means "easier"?? I dont understand?? |

I think BT,because your IR connection can drop very easily,while the BT is very comforable.

Hi there!
Thanks fo help! I bought a COM cable:DIt's very cheap and now i haev some problems... What about some software to T610? Where i can find some usefull tools for this phone? U know what i mean? What about photos? I heard that through cable i can exchange my photos but i dont know how? Help ma or gimme some links where i can find answers:D |

You can't send things from the phone to PC over cable.
As for the previous question, BT is much better then IR in practically every way possible (speed, connection stability, functionality, etc...)

Thanks for help! I sold my cable and bought IRDA and it's cool - faster and more usefull. Bluetooth is too expensive to me:( Thanks for help guys!
