Hi,
It seems that there is something wrong with t68 T9 dictionary. Some very simple words are not in the dictionary, such as "you", "forget",...
When I add them, it works well. Is this normal?

Thanks a lot,

sure. I am using English, and include the menu. As it is a Singapore local set, it can display chinese.

well if its a foreign phone they tend not to store as many words in the non native luanuaage of the phone for example if u bye a t68 in spain there dictionary has more spanish words as its prime use is bye spansih people however if u swicth to english it will not have as many words stored in its dictionary as there native lauguage is not english .

Here is a thought:
Language packs should be downloadable from sonyericssons web site. And the dictionaries should be editable using a PC.
That way we could all get the languages we want and get rid of the languages we do not need in the phone. That way there would be more memory free for other stuff like recordings, pictures, MMS's etc...
My phone contains: Danish, English, French and Dutch.
I could delete French and Dutch!
That would be cool!

I have stated that it is a local set. There are only three menu choices:Chinese, Engilish, and automatic. And I bought from Singtel which is the largest telcom in Singapore.

Good idea!
I am also thinking that the mobile phone company should learn from PC industry. They should let us to upgrade our firmware freely, just as the flashing of BIOS. This is discussed before.

Another idea is to provide cutomizable software: the user can choose what he want, I am not addictivie to game, I do not care the game, then I can choose to install one or two, instead of all the useless cards games. We should configure the software by ourseleves, not frigid package!
