Pretty much you'll have to send your phone to Europe to get your phone upgraded. There is a service station in the US somewhere, but they say there software is outdated...

Hi my friend.
I live in NY and i have sent my phone to update to Sonyericsson servise center...
Listen what you have to do.
First call 1-800-374-2776.This is the SonyEricssons US costumer care.
Say to them what do you want to do.In your case say you want to update.Then they are gonna give you a reference number.
Then you have to call another number who the costumer care are gonna give you.You have to tell your reference number your name your address etc. then they are gonna give you a mailing address and you have to mail your phone there.
The Sonyericsson Service take place in Minnesota...
I have already sent my T68m and they tell me they are gonna sent it to me back 3 days after they receive it.
I have service and update my phone for free.

Since, the T68m update is not available until the middle of May, I guess we will have to wait and see.
Furthermore, many of us that have T68m's bought them under the pretext (product brochures, press releases, etc.) that they would have the same functionality as the T68i. You can bet that I was certainly disappointed when I got my T68m to find I did not have picture phonebook, notes, etc when the product specs said it would. SE knows they have an obligation to provide this update to ALL T68m customers, if for no other reason, the various consumer rights laws in most countries most notably the US and UK.

They dont know sit!In SE USA...
Just call them again when the software is available...
I have allready sent my phone for repair and I ask them to update it too.

hey u guys... i called SE to have my phone upgraded, but i asked them what software version they had, and they told me sumthing like the 2b(or the one with the battleship gam) but i didnt send my phone in cuz i want the software that the t68i had... i guess im going to wait until week 20, and if those SE dicks in MINN. don't have their software shit straight.. i'm going to send my phone to the UK...
but if anyone who got the t68i update on their t68m in the USA.. please post!!
